Our farms in Calhoun county Illinois have been managed strictly for trophy class whitetails and wild turkeys for over 20 years. In these years world class whitetails and turkeys have been taken on these farms.  We currently operate on over 2000 premium acres in Calhoun County. 

Our professional guides and owners have over 100 years combined experience taking the game you are searching for.  We are a very small outfitter by design. We hunt only a very limited number of hunters each season to keep the pressure down and success rates up.  On average each IEO hunter has over 250 acres to themselves for their week.  With the diversity of our farms and close proximity to each other, hunters can choose to move areas should they not be seeing the caliber of deer they came to IL for.

Our farms are electric vehicle only during the duration of the entire hunting season. This is a major factor in taking that monster Illinois whitetail you have been dreaming about.
Most of our business is returning hunters and word of mouth which speaks volumes for the quality of the hunting as well as the excellent environment we provide while you are hunting with us.We have a newly remodeled cabin, built in 2009 on our base farm and a newly remodeled house on another nearby farm for our hunters use.  When hunting only 8-10 hunters max per week, the amount of property we control,over 200 preset stand sites, we can keep the Illinois whitetails guessing.

Illinois Extreme Outfitters uses some of the best equipment available. From our Xcaliber and Bad Boy Buggy electric carts to our Ameristep deer stands. Everything is top quality and maintained very well.

Should you have a special need, we can accommodate. We really strive to exceed our hunters’ expectations while they are in camp with us.

Travel arrangements for your Illinois whitetail or turkey hunt can be made during your reservation process. We offer fully guided weeks as well as semi guided weeks of whitetail and turkey hunting. Some would say our semi guided weeks are similar to other outfitters fully guided weeks. We show you all our stand sites and property lines of the farm selected for your party on a map, give a daylight tour of all the farms available to your party during your hunt, tour of the lodging, meet and greet with the owners and or guides, tutorial on all equipment to be used during your hunt, and usually have a sit down meal with the hunters the first night in.

Fully guided all inclusive hunts are available as well.  These hunts include full guiding services, lodging, meals, transportation while in camp, and field, trophy, and travel care for your animal.

Our Illinois deer hunts for 2012 begin on Monday morning and end on Friday evening. We ask that our hunters for the week arrive after noon the Sunday prior to their scheduled week after 12pm, then depart the Saturday after their hunt is finished prior to 12pm.

Hunting is allowed on the evening of your arrival and the morning of your departure with an annual hunting license.  It is not guaranteed and depends upon your arrival and departure time and if we can get you out in time for a hunt your first evening in camp and last morning in camp.  This makes an archery hunt 6 days.
